Robbery: Your Story · Last updated: October 12, 2026
Robbery: Your Story ("the app") is an interactive story game published by Studio Mundial LLC ("we", "us"). This page explains what information is collected when you use the app, why, and the choices you have.
The short version
- The app has no accounts. We never ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts or photos.
- Your story progress and in-game money are stored on your device.
- The app shows ads and measures how the app is used. To do that, software from our partners collects device identifiers and usage information, described below.
Information collected
The app includes software development kits (SDKs) from the partners listed in the next section. Through them, the following is collected:
- Device identifiers, such as your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, with your permission) and the identifier for vendors.
- Approximate location, estimated from your IP address (country or city level). The app never asks for precise location or location permission.
- Usage information, such as app opens, the chapters you reach, and game events like running out of money or finishing the story.
- Advertising information, such as which ads were shown or tapped.
- Purchase information, such as which in-app purchase or subscription was bought and its price. Payments are handled by Apple or Google; we never see your card details.
- Diagnostics, such as crash reports and performance data, and basic device details (model, operating system version, language).
None of this is tied to your name or any account, because the app has none.
How it is used and who receives it
- Showing ads: Google AdMob, with ads also supplied by Meta Audience Network and Chartboost.
- Measuring where installs come from and how our ads perform: AppsFlyer and the Facebook SDK (Meta).
- Understanding how the app is used: Google Firebase Analytics and Mixpanel.
- Finding and fixing crashes: Google Firebase Crashlytics.
- Reminders: if you allow notifications, Firebase Cloud Messaging and your device's notification service are used to deliver them.
- Story artwork: images and video clips are downloaded from our content host (Vercel), which receives your IP address as part of delivering the files.
These partners process the information under their own privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not combine this data with other sources to identify you.
Tracking and your choices
- iOS: the app asks for permission before tracking you across other companies' apps and websites. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", the advertising identifier is not shared. You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID, and opt out of ad personalisation, in Settings → Privacy → Ads.
- Notifications: you can turn them off in your device settings.
- Removing your data: deleting the app removes the progress stored on your device. To ask about data held by our partners, or to make a request under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, email us at the address below.
Purchases and subscriptions
In-app purchases and subscriptions are billed through your Apple or Google account. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
Children
The app's story deals with crime and other mature themes. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will help remove it.
Data retention
We do not keep personal profiles. Analytics and advertising partners retain data according to their own policies, typically in aggregated or de-identified form.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app changes. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above.
